Secondary Glazing
Secondary Double glazing enables you to keep the original character of your home or building, whilst improving your living or working environment by reducing noise pollution, heat loss and increases security.

Our range of secondary glazing comprises of an unobtrusive aluminium frame, which is in a comprehensive range of styles to suit just about every application, frames supplied in white, silver or brown as standard and can accommodate any R.A.L. colour upon request to suit individual requirements. We can also provide a wide range of glass types such as clear, patterned, toughened, laminated and acoustic laminated for a maximum sound reduction.

Secondary glazing is suitable for all types of premises including grade one and two listed buildings, schools, colleges, hospitals, universities, hotels and commercial buildings i.e. offices.

Secondary glazing is renowned for its thermal efficiency. Varying degrees of improved thermal insulation can be achieved by using such glasses as Pilkington K and Low E.

Horizontal sliders:

Undoubtedly the most popular used type of secondary glazing with removable sashes for 'picture' type casement windows

Vertical sliders:

Most complex type of secondary glazing used for Sash Windows, with a tilting and removable sash facility for ease of cleaning.

Hinged units:

For narrow casements, doors & French doors or windows. Sashes can be lifted off

Lift out:

Suitable for use when only occasional access is required to the primary main window

Fixed units:

Usually only used to insulate glass panels within doors
